How do you get staff to refer to, read and understand complex HR policies? By bringing in publishing expertise, that’s how. Indigodog completely overhauled the structure of The Perfume Shop's employee manual to make it easier to digest and, dare we say it, enjoyable to read. We did it by applying our editorial know-how about what makes people want to read more. That is, we introduced a logical flow of copy for the various sections and a clear, concise writing style. We also applied the combined use of imagery, crossheads and bullet points to break up large blocks of impenetrably dense text. The result? A well-read, easy-to-navigate employee manual that’s finally useful for employees!
